Gourmet Guide Voucher Terms and Conditions
Gourmet Guide Limited Ltd operates and manages the website www.gourmeguide.co.uk in the United Kingdom under the name and branding of Gourmet Guide. The contract for the Gourmet Guide Restaurant Voucher is between you and Gourmet Guide Ltd, but please note the fulfilment of the dining experience is by a third party supplier.
All voucher purchases are subject to a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period, and can be requested to be cancelled and refunded (if not redeemed) within 14 days of the original purchase date. Beyond this point all vouchers are non refundable.
Vouchers cannot be used within the first 3 days of purchase. The unique ‘Voucher Code’ on your gift voucher must be given to Gourmet Guide before you make your reservation.
The value of your voucher is equivalent to the total amount displayed on your voucher and can be redeemed against all elements of your restaurant bill.
The total value of your voucher can be split over a maximum of three different reservations at a maximum of three different restaurants.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed directly in restaurants. It is essential to contact Gourmet Guide Ltd to pre-arrange a date and time for your restaurant reservation. If you arrive unannounced you will not be able to redeem the voucher.
The amount that you would like to redeem must be specified at the time of booking. Restaurants cannot give any change for unspent amounts and the voucher holder is responsible for all additional fees.
All bookings must be made at least 24 hours before your proposed dining date.
Bookings can be made for any day and time subject to the restaurants’ normal availability calendar.
Expiry dates are clearly stated on our vouchers and are non-negotiable. All vouchers are valid until the expiry date indicated.
Vouchers must be redeemed prior to the expiry date, although the dining date can fall beyond this date.
All vouchers can be extended for a further 3 months for an additional £20 fee if requested before the expiry date shown.
All reservations are subject to the cancellation policy of the clients chosen restaurant. If the chosen restaurant charges a fee for a late cancellation or ‘no show’ this fee will be passed onto the client and will be deducted from their voucher credit.
LOSS OF VOUCHER
In the event of a lost voucher, Gourmet Guide Ltd can issue a new voucher for an administration fee of £25, subject to proof of purchase.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
Whilst Gourmet Guide Ltd makes every effort to monitor the experience fulfilled by the supplier, any liability incurred by the customer or the recipient caused by the supplier’s negligence is the responsibility of the supplier and not Gourmet Guide Ltd.
Gourmet Guide Ltd shall not be liable for the death or personal injury of the customer, recipient or third party while undertaking any treatment or activity provided by the supplier.
Gourmet Guide Ltd shall have no liability for damage to property, consequential loss or expenses suffered, which includes but is not limited to loss of anticipated earnings, profits, goodwill, reputation, business receipts or contracts, losses or expenses, resulting in third party claims.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights. These terms and conditions are subject to the law of England and Wales. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
