Greens Bistro is a small rustic, back street, cellar Bistro with a low ceiling and romantic alcoves. The family run local bistro offers a small, seasonal menu, using local produce wherever possible. It has kept its AA rosette rating for food quality since 2000. Paul and Anna Webster own and run this unique Bistro and both believe that their success is due to the great food and the friendly casual hospitality.
The Bistro was set up in 1999 when Paul (originally from St. Annes) and his Swedish wife Anna (who met whilst on the QE11) returned from working at many restaurants in London and around the world.
We named our bistro Greens as we have alway been passionate about recycling everything we can, long before it was popular. We are a very rustic bistro with nice touches like real linen napkins and our service is informal and friendly from a young service team.
