Located within one of the world's oldest and most prestigious auction houses, Michelin-starred Bonhams Restaurant is the perfect Mayfair destination for lunch or simply to relax with coffee or a glass of wine. Under the direction of exciting new Head Chef, Tom Kemble, the restaurant will serve lunch from 12.00 - 14.30 and stay open until 17.00 for coffee, drinks and light refreshments. The constantly changing seasonal menu provides plenty of flexibility and allows Tom to work closely with producers. His elegant, naturally plated dishes, which use a blend of French technique with carefully sourced produce, won the restaurant its first Michelin star within nine months of opening.
A special feature of Bonhams Restaurant is the chance to sample some of the world's great wines at affordable prices. Selected by Richard Harvey, Master of Wine and Head of Bonhams Wine department, the constantly evolving, eclectic list currently includes Burgundies from Sylvain Cathiard, Jean Grivot and Comte Lafon, Château Lynch-Bages 1985 and Cheval Blanc 1982, Chave Hermitage and Screaming Eagle from California. At least twenty wines are always available by the glass and the excellent house wine, imported direct from the small Domaine Saint-Amant in the southern Rhone, is available at £28 a bottle or £6.50 a glass.
