Year after year we are recognised within the food and pub guides that really matter (you know the ones we mean) and are visited regularly by discerning locals and those who return to the Cotswolds time and time again.
Our philosophy is simple - to cook relevant dishes using seasonal produce to the highest possible standard.
Browse our sample menus - as you would expect, they change with the seasons.
Although proud to be included in the Food and Accommodation guides that matter, we are proud to remain a traditional Inn.
Relax and enjoy a wealth of oak beams and rough-hewn Cotswold stone in our traditional bar - it is welcoming, relaxed and the perfect place to wind down over a pint or two of local ale or enjoy a glass of our quality wines. This is traditional inn-keeping at its best!
Imagine how many tales The Eight Bells could tell. Hundreds of years of history in the making - although as far as we are aware the only spirits we have at the Eight Bells are the drinkable ones!
Enthusiastically supported by a healthy mix of locals and visitors, you will feel like a local by the time you leave.
Reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment. You may eat in our Dining Room or Main bar (no dogs in the Dining Room and no children under 11 in the bar after 6 p.m., but welcome in the dining room).
For parties of ten people or more we are happy to discuss individual requirements - please contact us to discuss your needs.
We are open daily from 12 noon until 11 pm (10.30 pm on Sundays)
