Everything is prepared and cooked in our kitchen, including piccalilli, relishes and all our cakes and jams. Local ingredients like Denham Estate venison and Norfolk samphire, feature on our menu, as well as a wide variety of game which we serve daily.
Our cheese is supplied by Neal’s Yard Dairy in London, which has build up a first class reputation for the selection and care of fine cheese from the British Isles and is served, when in season, with fen celery.
We also serve afternoon teas every day, with homemade scones, jam and cakes. Our winter tea menu also features homemade gentleman’s relish and Cambridgeshire honey, while in the summer we serve cucumber sandwiches. Our leaf teas, including assam, lapsang suchong and lemon verbena all come from specialist tea supplier, Michael Matthews, in Cambridge.
