Welcome to The Five Bells, a 17th Century traditional “Chocolate Box” free house Inn in the rolling Berkshire countryside. Steeped in charm and full of character, this lovely old inn has undergone a full refurbishment by the new owners in May 2012, after many years of neglect.

We aim to provide a combination of very unusual ales as well as some old favourites, but we will only serve the best that Britain's finest brewers have to offer, making us THE destination Real Ale pub in West Berkshire and beyond.

If you are interested in keeping up with forthcoming beers check on this website regularly or follow us on twitter @5bellswickham or on our facebook page, The Five Bells, and on our blackboards in the pub.

We always serve eight draught Real Ciders, Leffe Blonde on draught, two craft ale on keg and a range of at least 30 Belgian Beers by the bottle. This gives us by far the best selection of beer and cider in the area!

Oh, and an eclectic, balanced and well priced wine list as well as a large selection of the finest single malts and some award winning spirits as well as the usual favourites, so something for everyone.

We also serve some superb home cooked, locally sourced food to go with our beers, ciders, wines and spirits, ranging from our really great wood fired Pizzas, using a dough made by us to an old, secret Sicilian family recipe baked simply in our specially designed wood fired pizza ovens, and great local steaks and our range of superb, lovingly made “proper” pies encased in shortcrust pastry, as well as a great well balanced menu, offering everything from pub classics to our great daily specials board offering fresh fish from Brixham day boats, local game dishes, as well as an imaginative range of vegetarian dishes.
