“A gastronomic haven in rural Lincolnshire”
Peterborough Evening Telegraph
“I cannot recommend it highly enough” Stamford Living
Situated in the peaceful village
setting of Haconby, The Hare and Hounds has become well-known for great food both locally and further afield.
The menu offers an imaginative range of traditional and modern British dishes, created from locally -sourced, seasonal ingredients
wherever possible. Indeed, thanks to The Hare and Hound’s system of trading locals’ home-grown produce for beer or dinner, you could be
eating vegetables that were growing in the next door neighbour’s garden just hours earlier! Across their menu the chefs’ philosophy is to cook with care and love – however simple the dish, and sauces, stocks and bread are home-made. |

The recently refurbished dining rooms offer a relaxed, opulent
setting to linger over your meal. Alternatively you can eat in the
sixteenth-century bar and lounge and soak up its friendly atmosphere.
Since October 2003, The Hare and Hounds has been owned and run by Three Peas Ltd, an ethical food
company formed by two London chefs with twenty years of
restaurant experience between them. Three Peas’s policy is to consider people and planet as well as profit. So small local suppliers, environmentally-friendly products/practices and well-looked after staff are high priorities here. Why not come and experience for yourself the new Lincolnshire gastropub that everyone’s been talking about? Haconby is conveniently located off the A15, three miles north of Bourne. |
