Set in over 88 acres of parkland and overlooked by two large lakes, Branston Hall, with its 50 en-suite rooms, offers both table t’hôte or à la carte dining. The Lakeside
restaurant’s huge oak doors, high ceilings and picturesque views through 19th century windows of English parkland, lend an air of
formality to dining. In addition to set patterns of dining though, Branston Hall invites diners to
challenge head chef Miles Collins and his brigade to create bespoke dishes either in the Lakeside dining room itself, or in one of the two
private dining rooms, each capable of accommodating up to 25 diners. This Menu Gourmand is open to
parties of up to ten on a en-spec basis, or more if pre-planned. Even in the case of en-spec Menu Gourmand dining however, patrons can either be surprised or can offer specific |
|
guidance for their off-the-menu and entirely exclusive experience.
A repertoire of meat, game and seafood including Asian dishes such as Southern Indian Curry of Tiger Prawns, European dishes like Tagliatelle with Langoustines and thoroughly English dishes such as our Braised Shank & Best End of Lamb with Potatoes, Roast Garlic & Thyme all feature, offering diverse dining choice. Desserts are
creatively considered and presented with exceptional flair; the Chocolate Pudding is a luxurious incarnation of an old favourite, with a Spun Sugar Lattice & Pistachio Biscuit. A
selection of cheeses and coffee with home made truffles completes the experience, and a menu of after dinner digestives includes several armangnac and cognac brandies, guest single malts and ports. |
